Viticoltori Ingauni

The Ingauni Viticulturists Cooperative was founded in 1976 on the initiative of 13 winegrowers: over the years the number of members has progressively grown up to the current 200 members, consequently increasing the quantity of processed grapes and wine produced.
In 1988 the DOC Riviera Ligure di Ponente was born, which includes the Pigato, Vermentino, Rossese and Ormeasco wines, which constitutes a huge step forward in the enhancement of the products of our land, of which the Ingauni Viticulturists Cooperative is the main producer. From 25 September 2003 Ormeasco obtained the new denomination with the DOC Ormeasco di Pornassio which constitutes a notable evolution in the growth and promotion of this wine. In 1990 the new headquarters of the Cooperative were inaugurated, equipped with the most modern equipment that currently allows us to vinify over 4,000 quintals of grapes between Pigato, Vermentino, Rossese, Ormeasco di Pornassio (DOC), Lunassina, Rosso and Bianco (IGT Colline Savonesi) , White, Red and Rosé (Table Wines). Over the years there have been numerous awards for high quality including the “Douja d’Or” awarded by the Asti Chamber of Commerce, the “Gran Medaglia d’Argento di Cangrande” award awarded to VINITALY in Verona by the Minister of ‘Italian Agriculture for the high contribution made to national enology.
