A Maccia is a farm in Ranzo, an agricultural village located in the Arroscia valley 15 km from the sea and 20 km from the high mountains of Monesi. The company consists of 12 hectares of vineyards and olive groves immersed in the Mediterranean scrub.
It is characterized by being a “pink company”: four generations of “women in the vineyard” who have taken care of the territory and typical products. Currently Carlotta and Fulvio produce typical Ligurian wines: 2 types of Pigato, Vermentino, Rossese, Ormeasco and Ormeasco Sciac-trà and Taggiasca extra virgin olive oil.
A Maccia is also an agritourism; four apartments overlooking the Arroscia stream where you can spend relaxing days. The offer is completed by the organization of tastings and guided tours of vineyards and olive groves.
